Hey everyone! We’re the new summer interns! We couldn’t be more excited for the incredible journey that lies ahead. We’re the biggest intern group to date and we’re ready to use our hard work and dedication to help empower people to rise above poverty!
We’ve been working and living together for a week now and it’s safe to say we’ve already grown close! While having a large number of people living in a three bedroom house together definitely presents difficulties, it also has many rewards. We can’t wait to continue to grow together over the next 12 weeks!
Now, let me introduce you to the group [from left to right]: Saul, Kelly, Nicole, Adam [jetting off to Uganda this week], Hannah, Meredith, Brittany, Tim, Hayley, Sarah, Ryan [heading to Peru on Friday], Lindsey and Cody. Unfortunately, Megan wasn’t here yet, so she’s not pictured. But don’t fear! You’ll get the chance to meet Megan and the rest of us more in-depth as the summer continues. Be on the lookout for “Who we are Wednesdays” each week!
This summer will be quite the adventure and we can’t wait! We’re all crazy passionate about Krochet Kids and are stoked to use our individual and group skills to make an impact on the people of Uganda and Peru!
